Jennifer Schevardo is responsible for the development and realization of the “Czech-German Young Professionals Program”. The program is organized by the DGAP and the „Association for International Affairs(Asociace pro mezinárodní otázky, AMO)” in Prague and funded by the Robert Bosch Stiftung and the Czech-German Fund of the Future. 2008/20009 is the first year of the program.
Besides her activity for the DGAP she is a free-lance historian and takes care for the mediation of historical themes to a broader public. Before that, she was for two years as a Robert Bosch Cultural Manager at the Collegium Bohemicum in Ústí nad Labem/Czech republic.
Jennifer Schevardo studied in Mannheim and Bochum economic and social history, French and philosophy. At the Center for Research on Contemporary History in Potsdam she wrote her doctoral thesis on economic history of the GDR and received a PhD of the University of Potsdam.
