Simon Koschut is the Program Officer of the Transatlantic Relations Program.
Simon Koschut studied in Bonn, Chapel Hill and Potsdam and received his Magister in North American Studies and Political Science at the John-F.-Kennedy Institute of the Free University Berlin. Simon Koschut then headed the Business Relationship Management team at econique communications. He has worked at the German National Parliament, the Representation of the European Commission at Berlin, the Office of the Coordinator for German-American Relations as well as the German Marshall Fund of the United States. As a student, Simon Koschut was Chairman of the Berlin Debating Union.
Simon is working on his PhD on changing security identities in post-Cold War German-American security relations. He currently holds a scholarship from the Friedrich-Ebert-Foundation. Previously, he received scholarships from the DAAD and the Fulbright Commission.
