In an interview with Radio France Internationale, Martin Koopmann explains the results of the NATO-summit in Bucharest. Especially from a French point of view the summit can be seen in a positive light. France has now officially dismissed the Gaullistic doctrine of an Atlantic outsider. That will benefit the French foreign policy as well as the European influence on Western security policy.
