rom July 1st until July 2nd the new under 35 membership initiative of the
"JUNGE DGAP" took place in Berlin. The workshop lasted two days with
attendees representing all areas of professional work with a specific
interest in Foreign Policy. The aim of the workshop was to create a starting
platform from which the DGAP could develop a stronger network of members
under the age of 35.
The workshop culminated in a evening dinner and speech with Wolfgang Ischinger followed by a lively discussion. The next meeting will be on 17th July for the new Steering Committee of the "JUNGE DGAP".

Accepting the invitation of State Secretary Michael Mertes, the State Representative of North Rhine-Westphalia’s “NRgy Lounge,” a energy policy roundtable, Josef Braml presented on June 11, 2008 the policy recommendations of DGAP’s yearbook featuring “Globally Sustainable Energy Security Policy.” (11.06.2008)
